Conditions that are not on a list
There are a few conditions that can not and should not be treated with hypnotherapy as a separate therapy too. Usually a team of specialists needed for support of such conditions, therefore hypnotherapy can only be used under strict supervision of a trained clinician. Which are:
1. Bipolar and related disorders
2. Clinical depression (major depressive disorder, dysthymia)
3. Schizophrenia spectrum or other psychotic disorders
4. Personality disorders (not all but some)
5. Substance-related disorders that need hospitalisation
6. Any condition that is treated by a psychiatrist or a team of professionals due to its complexity
If you still not sure please Book a Call or chat with me and I will tell you if it is safe for you to have hypnotherapy
